Don’t Let the 29th Day of the Omer Slip By! Count and Sing with Jonathan Bayer

  • Jewish Community Library 1835 Ellis Street San Francisco, CA 94115 (map)

Free event at the Jewish Community Library at 1835 Ellis Street, San Francisco, with free garage parking on Pierce between Ellis and Eddy streets.

We don’t know what Torah sage Rashi would have done to commemorate this day, but musician and storyteller Jonathan Bayer will play seven songs of journey and travel on four different instruments.

Throw in one interactive story (7 x 4 + 1 = 29!) and you’ve got the perfect start to the 29th day of the Omer!

Jonathan Bayer has performed and taught almost every day of the last ten years in New York and San Francisco. He is music director at Congregation Beth Sholom and prayer leader at The Kitchen. When Shabbat is over, he plays guitar, banjo, and marching
bass drum, and sings with the brass group Bug Horn Rex.

Especially appropriate for preschoolers and kindergartners and their families. RSVP appreciated so we can plan accordingly. Please contact Andy Muchin at amuchin@jewishlearningworks.org or 415.567.3327 x 703.
