Special Needs Family Camp
May 5th - 7th, 2017
Each year, children with special needs and their siblings, parents, and grandparents enjoy three days of community, creativity, and fun in a Jewish setting. Together, they participate in Jewish communal and life cycle events and worship services. They attend workshops, relax, find support, and share experiences.
Special Needs Family Camp is a magical weekend for all attendees. It gives families the chance to play and recharge while strengthening their ties with Judaism and meeting and bonding with other families who share the same joys and challenges.
The weekend includes: Outdoor games, a 30-foot climbing tower, arts and crafts, hiking, swimming, yoga, music and more!
Activities are geared towards families and youth ages 3 to 25. All children with special needs will have one-on-one attention from highly trained staff.
Families stay in beautiful, private cabins at Camp Newman in Santa Rosa. Each cabin has its own bathroom, complete with a shower. Kosher meals and snacks are provided throughout the weekend.
Cost for the weekend: $400 per adult (anyone age 18+ on May 5th, 2017), $250 per youth, Free for children 2 and under. The price includes all meals, education, recreation, and accommodations. Kosher meals and snacks are provided.
