More of What You Love About the Feast
This year we'll have even more of the innovative, vibrant and wide-ranging adult study that has made the Feast unique for over 15 years!
This Year's Feast Coordinator: Jen Wakefield
Jen Wakefield is Jewish LearningWorks' new South Peninsula Director of Literacy Programs. Jen grew up on the Peninsula, attended Stanford University, and has taught Jewish Studies in the area for the last 15 years. She studied History and Anthropology and earned her Certificate in Jewish Day-School Education from HUC-JIR. Jen has taught at Hausner Day School and at many schuls on the Peninsula, and has coordinated the Pushcart at the Palo Alto JCC for the last two years. In addition to coordinating the Feast, Jen will be re-envisioning and re-opening the Peninsula Learning Center - more news on that soon!
What's The Next Step?
Over the next month, Jen will be reaching out to rabbis and educators to discuss what our community is most interested in teaching - and learning - at the Feast. She will also be getting in touch with local congregations and community organizations to arrange sponsorship. In January we'll begin announcing our sponsors, teachers, topics and activities for The Feast of Jewish Learning v2.0!
