We provide educators and parents with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to transform the next generation of Jews - a generation with the power to engage in repairing our broken world.
With your help we are enabling children of all ages to engage with the world through Jewish life and ideas. Every day we inspire teachers and parents with a customized professional development initiative, cutting-edge parent resources, hands-on training and sponsorship of the Jewish Community Library.
We are grateful to the Federations, Foundations and individuals below whose investment has sustained our work over many decades.

In Their Own Words
For 120 years, JLW has served as a wellspring of support and training for educational professionals, institutions and programs throughout the Bay Area. Over time Jewish LearningWorks has evolved to serve not only a wider array of organizations, but also individuals and families. We are our people and this spring we talked with some our stakeholders to learn more about how our work helps them to flourish. We are proud to share their stories:
On One Foot
Jewish LearningWorks advances Jewish learning that enriches lives, and that enables the learner to flourish as a human being and as a Jew. We accomplish this work through a customized professional development initiative, cutting-edge parent resources, hands-on training and sponsorship of the Jewish Community Library.
Behind The Curtain
It is a great privilege to serve the educators and parents responsible for shaping our next generation. We are grateful for the generous support of funders, individual donors and the hundreds of participants who financially support our work.
We've evolved again and again, since our inception over 100 years ago. From BJE through JLW, one thing has remained the same. Our organization is home away from home to some of the most dedicated and talented master educators in the field. We're proud to serve a vibrant, diverse Bay Area community by building on the foundation of excellence we inherited from those before us.
We are grateful to the foundations and individuals who are committed to Jewish learning. We could not do this work without your generous support. Thank you!
