Jewish Family Engagement Network
The Jewish Family Engagement Network (JFEN) is a community of practice for educators and engagement professionals who work with Jewish families in a wide variety of settings, both formal and informal. JFEN is intended for professionals working with families whose children are age 5-12, but welcomes others to join too.
JFEN participants will:
- Connect with one another in order to share resources, discuss issues, highlight best practices, grow as professionals
- Develop knowledge, skills and tools related to work with Jewish families.
- Reduce the feeling of isolation or feeling of re-creating the wheel in a vacuum.
In addition to informal schmoozing before and after the session, each meeting will include interactive, learner centered activities, a Jewish text study experience replicable with families, and a content rich learning block designed to give you material you can immediately apply to your work.
This year we are offering three stand alone sessions in each region - you can come to one or all three. Choose the dates, times and locations that are most convenient for you and your schedule!
There is no charge for the network. Registration is requested but not required.
All Sessions are from 10:30 - 12:30. Feel free to bring a lunch and stick around to shmooze!
