Professional Learning
for Educators

Ben Zoma said: Who is wise? One who learns from every one, as it said: “From all who taught me have I gained understanding.”  Pirke Avot 4:1

As we prepare for the start of a new year, the professional learning team is honored to have the ongoing opportunity to work with and learn from our community of talented, dedicated and inspiring educators. For 120 years, Jewish LearningWorks has served as a wellspring of support and training for educators and organizations throughout the Bay Area. Since completing our strategic plan in 2017, we have expanded both the breadth and depth of our professional development offerings, which last year touched more than 1000 teachers, camping and youth professionals, senior educational leaders and others in more than 100 local organizations.

We encourage you to rely on us as a resource for your work by participating in:

  • Individualized coaching and customized training with our senior educators

  • Content rich virtual learning opportunities

  • The Include initiative for those supporting learners with special needs

  • The Voices for Good women’s leadership initiative

  • Communities of Practice to enable professionals to reflect on their work

  • And our menu of learning opportunities for youth professionals made possible by the Bay Area Area Jewish Teen Education and Engagement initiative

We are always open to your feedback and ideas for how else we might support your work, and your organization.
