“In a beautiful Valley, amidst fields and flowers, stands all alone a five-story tower.” Four animals live in this tower and they are looking for a new tenant. Dirah le-Haskir (Apartment for Rent) is a classic Israeli story by the famed author Leah Goldberg. The story has been voted the most beloved Israeli tale of all time and deals with the universal  issues of peace, tolerance, and community. The Up a Tree Puppetry duo (Peter Olson and Ilan Vitemberg) brings this story to life in a fun, acrobatic, and interactive way with hand-made puppets and original set.

The show is appropriate for children ages two to eight and their families. Healthy snacks will be provided.

RSVP to Noa Albaum at or 415.567.3327 x 703.
