Free program with free garage parking on Pierce Street between Ellis and Eddy.

A rotating lineup of talented storytellers — all with puppets or props – spins tales based on famous Israeli children’s book. Some of the storytellers may also sing or dance with the children. Grown-ups are encouraged to get to know one another! The program is in Hebrew without translation.

This month's guest storytellers are Up a Tree Puppetry:

Mitz Petel (Raspberry Juice) is based on the beloved Israeli children’s story that features a mysterious character who lives in a house on the edge of the woods that has yellow curtains, green windows, and red shutters. Lion and Giraffe try to find out who the mysterious Mitz Petel is; on the way they learn about playing, secrets, and the power of friendship. Suitable for children ages two to eight.

RSVP to Noa Albaum at nalbaum@jewishlearningworks.org or 415.567.3327 x 703.

Co-sponsored by the Israeli House of the Consulate General of Israel.
