Amos Oz, one of Israel’s greatest writers, died December 28, 2018. The Library’s spring programming includes several events in his memory. This program will incorporate guided readings of some of Oz’s texts, as well as a discussion of the significance of his work for Israeli literature. Oz devotees and those new to his works are all welcome.

Merav Rozenblum is a graduate of Bar-Ilan University School for Translators and holds a BA in English and Spanish literatures from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She works as a freelance Hebrew translator and is also a faculty member of the Jewish Community High School, teaching Hebrew language and literature.
