This year's Special Needs Family Camp is completely full, but we would love to welcome you next year. If you would like to receive information about Family Camp 2017, please email Dr. David Neufeld.
Outdoor games, a 30-foot climbing tower, arts and crafts, hiking, swimming, yoga, music & more!
Each year, children with special needs and their siblings, parents, and grandparents enjoy three days of community, creativity, and fun in a Jewish setting at Special Needs Family Camp. Together they participate in Jewish communal and life cycle events and worship services. They attend workshops, relax, find support, and share experiences.
Special Needs Family Camp is a magical weekend for all attendees. Parents attend workshops, relax, share common experiences, and receive support while siblings and campers challenge themselves and make new friends while engaging in outdoor and indoor activities.
“The acceptance we feel at camp is like no other place. ‘No-shush’
gatherings are wonderful. We love this weekend and this community.”
“We look forward to Camp every year. Before we left, my child wanted to know the
dates of Camp next year. The talent show this year was so moving. I love seeing the
'typical' kids and the 'not typical' kids interact and share space.”
All activities are geared towards families and youth ages 3 to 25.
All children with special needs will have one-on-one attention from highly-trained staff.
Families stay in beautiful private cabins at Camp Newman in Santa Rosa. Each cabin has its own full bathroom. Kosher meals and snacks provided.
Cost: $300 per adult (anyone 18+ as of 5/6/16)
$200 per youth (Children 2 and under are free!)
