Parents as Partners: Connecting the learning to home and beyond
Kehillah Lomedet – Community of Learners

  • How complete is your toolkit as a teacher?

  • What are the ways you engage parents and families in your work?

  • How can we help families connect their Jewish learning to their full lives?

We invite teachers with 0-5 years of experience in Jewish educational settings to join our community of learners for a one-time session focused on the art of connect parents to Jewish learning and living. Guest presenter Rabbi Lisa Levenberg will engage participants in an interactive session that explores theories, ideas, and values that guide our efforts to partner with parents in community building and the learning process. The workshop will include ideas and practices ready for immediate use in your teaching environment.

This workshop is offered as part of an eight-part series partnership with Studio 70 and designed as a Kehillah Lomedet, a Community of Learners, for teachers in K-6 supplementary programs. While we designed this with congregations in mind, we welcome educators from JCCs, camps, day schools, and other teaching and learning environments.
